KADIYOT LANG. . .

“Gago!”

Nahimo na kining expression. Matag karon ug unya, atong madunggan ang susamang mga pulong, sama sa Buang! Turpe! Tunto! Istoryahi! Gago!  Tungod lagi kay expression ra man, dili na ta ma-offended, kon kita ang gitumong sa maong mga foul languages. In fact, mokatawa lang ta.

Apan, kon kini ising-al in open court, i-address ngadto sa kauban nimong mga equals, ang tuyo pagpakauwaw kanila, unya, daghan kaayo ang makadungog … lahi na ang sugilanon.

Maoy hinungdan nga nakakomentaryo si Fr. Catalino Arevalo nga dili kini maayo, ug mikutlo sa passage sa Bibliya nga nag-condemn niini. Ania ang mga pulong ni Jesus:

“ I tell you, then, that if you are not righteous in a much broader way than the teachers of the law and the Pharisees, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven” Sa ato pa, kinahanglan mas matarong kita kay sa mga tawo nga atong gisaway, tingali unya, mas salawayon kita kay kanila.

Unya, mipadayon si Jesus: “You have heard that it was said to our people in the past: Do not commit murder; anyone who does  kill will have to face trial. But now I tell you, whoever gets angry with a brother or sister will have to face trial.

“Whoever insults a brother or sister deserves to be brought before the council; whoever calls a brother or sister ‘Fool’ deserves to be thrown into the fire of hell.”

Klaro. Igo lang kining gikutlo ni Fr. Arevalo. Sa akong hunahuna, sa iyang panahon, si Jesus mismo, nasayod sa separation of Church and State. Sa iyang pagkutlo niini, si Fr. Arevalo wala manghilabot sa State.
